Monastery of Saint Mary of Pombeiro
Saint Mary of Pombeiro was one of the most important Benedictine monasteries of Entre Douro e Minho. Founded by D. Gomes Echiegues and his wife Gontroda in 1102, it has its roots in an ancient monastic community. Despite the extensive work it was submitted to in the 17th and 18th centuries, it still keeps the plan, the apsioles and the main portal of its medieval foundation. The main portal capitals are a remarkable example of Romanesque sculpture.

Fresco Mural Painting Experience
Recreational-pedagogical moment that will allow children to develop the technique of Fresco Mural Painting. Your children will feel like artists, developing and creating their own fresco, which they will they take home as an original souvenir. Have fun with them.

Roman Villa of Sendim
Polychrome mosaics, floors and remains of the walls of the compartments may be appreciated in this Villa, erected in the middle of the 4th century. The estate found during the excavations is exhibited at the supporting Interpretation Centre.
