With a single hamlet, Feirão is located on the slopes of the Montemuro mountain, in the south-east end of the municipality of Resende, right on the outskirts of Lamego and Castro Daire. It is the smallest parish in the municipality and also one of the highest in the country with an altitude of over 1000 meters.

A simple, humble village, with good, sincere and generous people. A typical and very interesting place, where the thatched houses are carefully kept and the way of life of its people makes us go back in time and find the roots of our deepest and most genuine everyday lives.

You can also visit the Interpretive Centre of Montemuro, located in the old elementary school, an educational and interpretative space comprising an exhibition hall and a multimedia projection room.
