The Rural Centre of Burgo, in the parish of Pombeiro, is a "calling card" for the Monastery of Saint Mary of Pombeiro. The village is dominated by granitic buildings and it is still possible to sense a typical medieval atmosphere. We highlight the mill, the Roman road and bridge, the milestone of Pombeiro, the river Vizela, the rural roads and the traditional buildings.
