Ermida, Oliveira do Douro, Cinfães
41.092847, -8.039003
Built on a promontory over the river Douro, in the former parish of Ermida (called "of Douro", to distinguish it from the one "of Paiva"), this small church is a good example of the way in which the Romanesque shapes persisted over the centuries, so it must be understood as part of the family of churches that were classified as "resistance Romanesque" churches. Despite the simplicity of its construction, there is a crevice on the apse's back wall that is carefully decorated both on the outside and on the inside.
