The village of Panchorra is located at one end of the municipality of Resende, in the highlands of the Montemuro mountains, at an altitude of nearly 1200 meters that makes it one of the highest in the country; to the south we find the neighbouring lands of Castro Daire and Cinfães. The population is concentrated, as it is across the entire mountain, and the parish has only two villages - Panchorra and Talhada.

With ancient origins, this village is crossed by a network of ancestral paths and tracks that established connections with the croplands, the pasture lands, as well as with other places and villages. Take the opportunity to visit the thatched house of Panchorra, an educational and interpretive space focused on the Montemuro mountains.
