The old Romanesque bridge of Cabrum, linking the municipalities of Cinfães and Resende, is located very close to the mouth of that stream with the Douro, and was probably built at the end of the 14th century or at the beginning of the following century.
Without any breakwaters or buttresses, the bridge of Cabrum has a slightly pointed round arch with a trestle deck resting on rocky outcrops on both banks. Numerous sigils or stonemason's marks can be seen on the voussoirs of the arch.
