The Aldeia de Canaveses is built along the stret "Rua Direita", both on the Sobretâmega side and on the São Nicolau side (old Tamacana road). Currently, on the São Nicolau side, it is called Rua de São Nicolau. In the past, these two streets, which were joined together, were connected by the bridge of Canaveses.
