The Aveloso Valley is a circular route (10.7 kilometres) shaped as an eight, that starts and ends at the Tendais Parish Council. It runs across the village of Macieira and follows stone paths and trails between walls to the stream of Covais. After crossing the stream it heads to Aveloso. This route takes us through places of high scenic, cultural and architectural interest such as: the Bestança meadow; the Tendais creek; the river Bestança; the Soutelo bridge; the community threshing floor of Bustelo; the Montemuro mountains; the chapel and wall of Montemuro Gates.
