In Resende, between the Douro and the Vinho [wine] Verde Demarcated Region, you'll find Quinta das Fontaltas on a south-facing slope opposite the Monastery of Cárquere. Respect for the terroir and the valorisation of native grape varieties such as Arinto, Loureiro, Trajadura, Avesso and Azal are the secret to the quality of Quinta das Fontaltas' white wines, produced on an area of 13 hectares.
