Av. do Rio, 14, Torno, Lousada
The house, a manor built in the 14th century, which has remained in the same family ever since, is one of the few architecturally valuable buildings that have been managed to survive time, in this region. The Baroque chapel, the Manueline window - the only specimen of the period in the Tâmega and Sousa region -, the house's main façade, the Maltese crosses and the Cross of Christ - from the Portuguese Crusades -, are some of the details that conceal pieces of history.
