Laranjal, Santa Cruz do Douro, Baião
Located at the entrance of the Douro valley, between the Marão and Montemuro Mountains and close to a small stretch of river water, the Casas de Pousadouro are a small group of rural houses whose ensemble recalls the soul of a small village. Here, Douro is not a wine region. The landscape is dominated by water mirrors sheltered by the serene green slopes and the scattered houses which humanise the scenery.
