Síntese – Grupo de Música Contemporânea is performing a concert at the Church of Saint Nicholas, Marco de Canaveses, on Friday 7 February at 9pm. Admission is free.

The following day, Saturday, between 9.30am and 12.30pm, they are also organising a contemporary music workshop on the premises of Artâmega – Conservatório de Artes.

At 5pm, Casa da Granja in Amarante will host Síntese for another Heritage Concert.

Síntese is a Portuguese chamber music group dedicated to the creation of new music.

Since its debut in 2007, it has commissioned and premiered more than 50 works by Portuguese composers from different generations and aesthetic perspectives.
