On 20 and 21 September, the Route of the Romanesque will once again be joining in the celebrations for European Heritage Days, this year focusing on the theme of Architectural Heritage, with free activities at the Interpretation Centre of the Romanesque in Lousada.

Children and Architectural Heritage

Target audience:

Children/young people aged 6 to 12

Objective:

To raise children's awareness of the importance of Romanesque architecture and the preservation of cultural heritage, in a fun and educational way.

Programme:

• Presentation of the theme with images and stories of Romanesque monuments;
• Distribution of personalised badges with the name and design of the favourite monument;
• Construction of models of Romanesque monuments;
• Heritage Postcards Workshop.
