The caretaker Rosa Carvalho, affectionately known as Mrs. Rosinha, is celebrating half a century of dedicated service to the church at the Monastery of the Saviour of Travanca, in Amarante, this September.
On the morning of Tuesday the 8th, the Rota do Românico symbolically thanked this heritage carer for her many gracious services by presenting her with a hamper of regional produce and a bouquet of flowers.
