The Route of the Romanesque has reinforced its Tourist and Cultural Signage System with 60 signs.

Among the new signs are the five T2 - Heritage panels installed on three motorways in the region: the A11 motorway in Lousada, the A24 motorway in Castro Daire and the EN224 bypass road in Castelo de Paiva.

The Interpretation Centre of the Romanesque in Lousada, the Monastery of Cárquere in Resende, the Memorial of Sobrado in Castelo de Paiva and the Church of Tarouquela in Cinfães were the destinations signposted on these roads.

The Route of the Romanesque's Tourist and Cultural Signposting System, which plays a fundamental role in attracting and guiding visitors, currently includes around 2,700 signs, distributed across the national, regional and municipal road network in the Sousa, Douro and Tâmega valleys and surrounding areas.
