Starting in June, the Interpretation Centre of the Romanesque in Lousada will host two training courses aimed at professionals in the hotel/restaurant and tourism/leisure sectors: English Language and Spanish Language.

These training courses are part of the collaboration protocol between the Tâmega e Sousa Business Council (CETS), the Route of the Romanesque and the Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo do Porto – Turismo de Portugal signed on 24 February 2022.

The English Language and Spanish Language training courses will have a timetable of 25 hours each, with the following (provisional) timetable:

– English Language: from 23 June | Tuesday and Thursday | 5pm-7pm;

– Spanish Language: from 24 June | Monday and Thursday | 5pm-7pm.

The start of the courses depends on the minimum number of participants (15).

The qualification of tourism professionals and, consequently, the promotion of higher quality standards in this sector in Tâmega e Sousa are the main objectives of the initiative.

The training actions are part of the People 2030 Programme, co-financed by Portugal 2030 and the European Union.
