Augusto Pinto - Rota do Românico

Mr. Augusto started living in Vila Boa do Bispo when he got married and it was at that time that he started feeling a strong connection to Saint Mary Monastery.
Besides being responsible for opening the church door, he also performs other duties in the parish: he sings in the choir, is a member of the vestry board and extraordinary minister of the holy communion, as is his wife, who is responsible for cleaning the church and looking after the altar of Our Lady of Fatima.
Mr. Augusto says that he loves the beauty of the church, the gilded carvings, the saints and that, for him, it is a very important church, with over a thousand years of history.
