Cândida Soares - Rota do Românico

Mrs. Candidinha started by looking after an altar, back in the 1960s, and, from then on, it became her responsibility to open the door of the Church of Saint Christopher whenever necessary. She considers it very important for her and keeps good memories of it.
She tells us that there is a legend according to which the Church was in Monte da Feira and that the Moors carried the stones to the place where it is today. She reveals to us that there is a beautiful painting on the chancel's wall.
