Delminda Gonçalves - Rota do Românico

Mrs. Delminda was an emigrant for 29 years, but she says that she has always maintained a strong connection to her local Church. Since she was a little girl, she accompanied her sisters in their religious activities. She tells us that her parents and grandparents always instilled in the whole family a great respect for the churchyard of the Church of Veade, because they considered it a sacred place, where their loved ones were buried. She remembers with great joy the day of her confirmation and the religious festivities celebrated in the Church.
Currently, she is the coordinator of the catechists, a member of the choir, looks after the altars, and cleans the church.
