Mr. Manuel has been the carer of the Church of Gondar since the late 1990s. As such, he always tries to keep it clean and opens it to people who want to visit it. Born and raised in Gondar, he tells us that every Easter Monday he takes part in the ceremonies held in this Church, where the visit of the priest ends.
In addition, he mentions that, since the Church is located on a signposted pedestrian route, many tourists pass by and visit the monument.
He says that the inhabitants of Gondar liked the fact that the Church joined the Route of the Romanesque 'because there were improvements.'
