This is a route (19 kilometres, circular) that reveals the importance of the mountains and the search for gold.
Here there are numerous Roman mining works for the exploitation of this metal, as well as the ruins of the Banjas Mining Complex from the 19th-20th century.
Honey also features prominently, since its production was already mentioned in the 13th century.
Today, as you walk through this area, you'll come across apiaries that bear witness to the continuity of this activity.
