You can't miss the new edition of the Gastronomic Weekends, which will take place until November 29, 2020. Indulge in the best flavours of Porto and Northern Portugal!

The 12th edition of the Gastronomic Weekends, promoted by the Regional Tourism Authority of Porto and Northern Portugal, promises, once again, a celebration of the senses, offering a wide range of delicious regional snacks and dishes, accommodation units and cultural activities.

In the participating restaurants (see Guide) you will be offered a welcome glass of wine (or a dessert) and accommodation units will offer a 10% discount on Friday and Saturday nights.

The 12 municipalities covered by the Route of the Romanesque will also participate in this initiative, highlighting some of the best delicacies in this territory, according to the following calendar:

6 to 8 December
BAIÃO | Egg pasty with smoked sausage, Fava bean rice with roast chicken and Crème brulée
PAÇOS DE FERREIRA | Capon a la Freamunde, "Rochas da Citânia" and "Brisas do Pilar"

10 to 12 January
AMARANTE | Mushrooms, Roast lamb and Conventual sweets ("Lérias")

14 to 16 February
PENAFIEL | "Pataniscas", Lamprey rice and "Bolinhos de amor"

20 to 22 March
LOUSADA | "Cozido à portuguesa" and Crème brulée
PAREDES | Lupins, Wood-fired lamb and "Sopa seca"

3 to 5 April
FELGUEIRAS | Smoked ham with corn bread, Cod a la Felgueiras and Margaride sponge cake

24 to 26 April
CINFÃES | "Arouquesa" breed veal flap rice and Butter cakes ("Matulos")

1 to 3 May
MARCO DE CANAVESES | "Verde"/"Bazulaque", Roast lamb with oven-baked rice and "Fatias do Freixo"

22 to 24 May
RESENDE | Snacks, Wood-fired lamb and "Cavacas" of Resende

11 to 13 September
CASTELO DE PAIVA | Traditional smoked sausages, Steak a la "Romaria" and "Sopa seca"
